SOFTWARE

REGEN3.3, Numerical Analysis Software for Regenerators  

This free NIST software can be used to calculate performance of regenerators in regenerative cycle cryocoolers.  It includes options for selecting either helium-4 or helium-3 working fluids and 30 regenerator matrix materials, including layers.  To download this software, including an instruction manual and examples, go to:   http://math.nist.gov/~AOGallagher/ and click on “ REGEN PACKAGES” and select REGEN3.3 to download.
